Mike Markoff

Involved in youth development and education for over 13 years, Mike began his career as a teenager working for Reality Theatre, which taught youth development in the groundbreaking teaching form of Psychodrama- a performance based teaching method... with over 400 hours under his belt of teaching. By the age of 18, he was a speech and drama tutor and specialist which focused on prose, verse,  and communications. Mike then became a youth counselor for JCC Camp Chi, working with children between the ages of 5-16. Mike later honed in on his language skills teaching in New York City tutoring hispanic immigrants. He then achieved his CELTA certification in Thailand, as well as a Young Learners certification. Mike's classes are always creative, fun, and methodically designed to improve communicative abilities and all facets of language systems.
